Preventing back injuries

Few tips..

  • Always warm up before lifting anything and stretch properly afterwards. This increases blood flow through your muscles and will reduce the risk of injury and increase your performance.
  • Try taking many small breaks, if you re lifting a lot of weights.
  • If it strains to carry the weight, then it’s too heavy. Don’t overdo yourself.
  • Always avoid slippery floor when lifting or walking.
  • Keep in mind that a small size doesn’t always means light weight/ load.    
  • When lifting, always bend the hips and push the chest out, pointing forward.
